What is Life Coaching?

Life coaching is a transformative journey where a coach becomes your partner in thought-provoking conversations and encourages you to push yourself to achieve your goals. A life coach serves as your cheerleader, continuously supporting and rooting for you throughout the process. They create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore ideas, allowing for personal growth. Additionally, they collaborate with you to develop a series of action plans to bring your goals to fruition.

What can life coaching help me with?

Life coaching offers invaluable support in cultivating a happier and more fulfilling life, particularly when you're confronted with significant life transitions like relocating to a new country, entering marriage or parenthood, or coping with the loss of a loved one. It serves as a powerful tool if you're seeking guidance in pursuing your dreams and aspirations, especially if you require support in getting started or overcoming persistent obstacles. Moreover, life coaching is essential if you're feeling stuck and looking to take charge of your life by identifying your desired path forward.

Who can have a life coach?

Anyone who aspires to develop self-awareness or wants to achieve their goals. My mission is to make life coaching accessible to people from all walks of life, regardless of their age and profession.

Is coaching the same as therapy?

Coaching places emphasis on clients' current situations, while simultaneously looking ahead and maintaining focus on their goals. Therapy, on the other hand, often involves reflecting on past experiences and how they impact the present. The key distinction between therapy and coaching lies in the fact that therapists delve into the root causes of mental health issues. While coaches are not qualified to diagnose or treat any health-related issues (unless specified), they are ethically obligated to make it clear to their clients that they should seek medical assistance from a general practitioner if necessary.

What happens during a coaching session?

During a coaching session, I will guide you through a series of thought-provoking questions to help you reflect on your thoughts, emotions, and past experiences, enabling you to make informed decisions. In between sessions, I will encourage you to challenge yourself by taking progressive actions to move towards your goals.

How many sessions do I need?

Each individual progresses at their own unique pace. Some people may need more or less time to gain clarity and self-confidence before they can navigate their own path. In our pre-coaching chat, we will collaboratively determine the appropriate duration and frequency of our meetings based on your work and personal obligations. Each coaching session typically lasts for one hour.

Where does coaching take place?

Coaching sessions are conducted online or in-person, or a combination of both. Together, we will decide which is the best option for you.

Can I experience transformation after 1 session?

When we encounter significant life events, it's important to recognise that immediate positive changes may not be realistic. Through the coaching process, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and build the confidence you need to overcome challenges whilst staying focused on your goals. It's worth noting that this process may be challenging for some, but it is undoubtedly rewarding in the end.
